Rarotonga has some beautiful inland hiking treks but before your adventure starts here are some helpful hints -

- DO NOT attempt treks if it has rained or rain is forecast
- Wear strong footwear, take a jacket and drinking water
- Advise your accommodation of your intentions and if unsure book a guided tour
- Allow 3-5 hours walking time and plan to be back before dark
