Two Days Tour To The Summit of Mt Cameroon
Tour Sightseeing:
-TWO DAYS TOURS hiking starts at Upper Farms (1000m) to the forest to Hut One(1840m) from here to the Savanna Hut(2340m) to Hut Two(2870m) night is spent . Next Day the hiking to Hut Three (3770m) and then to the Summit(4090m) then descend back to Buea Town following same track.

Tour Intro:
-At old BICEC bank(900m) there is the South West Governors Office and next to it is the Old Prime Ministers lodge built by the German colonial Governor Von Puttkermer around 1910,it host 72 rooms and is one of the most impressive and iconic in Cameroon
About 50 meters from Old BICEC is the Otto Von Bismarck fountain, a gendarmerie and army barracks
- .From the area of ranching we enter the forest zone (1200m) were there is the farming of coco yam which is the staple food of the local Bakweri people, while in the forest you come across many species of trees, birds, inserts, animals, what will pick your attraction here will be the presence of many giant trees along the track to hut One
-At Hut One (1840m) there is a natural spring water
-From hut One to the Savanna (2000m) and the savanna hut (2270m) you have a beautiful view of Buea Town and,Limbe city (Town of Friendship) , small view of Douala the Economic capital and part of the equatorial guinea islands, great view of the Atlantic Ocean
from the savanna to the summit the vegetation and climate changes as you notice few trees more of grass
Hut one to savanna hut takes 45mins to 2hours and is between 1.5-2km
- savanna hut to hut two is the most difficult part of the mountain as the steepest and rockiest part
-At (3770m)we are at hut three were the crater of the may 2000 eruption is located, The track from hut three to the summit 4090m the track is mainly sand
THREE DAYS MT CAMEROON SUMMIT –CRATERS

THREE DAYS TOUR FROM UPPER FARMS-SUMMIT AND THE CRATERS
Departure from upper farms to hut Two were the first night is spent next day move to hut Three were you can see the may 2000 eruption. Then you move to the summit then descend from the Summit to camp two(2950m),camp One(2340m) ELF (2935M) ,October 1999 eruption craters(2600m) then Manns spring , camp 2440m)t he night is spent here next day move to Bokoango village (900m)

Tour Highlights:
Hiking up at about (950m) you meet farms of Tomatoes & Plantains . Cattle rearing. From the area of ranching we enter the forest zone (1200m) were there is the farming of coco yam which is the local food of the Bakweri people, In forest you see many different species of trees, birds, inserts, animals, There are also very Big Trees on the road to Hut 1
-Hut One (1840m) there is a natural fresh spring water flowing
NB upper farms to hut one are between 5-6km and takes about 2hrs 30mins to 6hours
- Hut One to the Savanna (2000m) and the savanna hut (2270m) you have a sweet view of Buea Town and also ,Limbe city (Town of friendship ), part of Douala the Economic capital and part of the equatorial guinea islands, also you will see the Atlantic ocean.
FOUR DAYS MT CAMEROON ELEPHANT TRACK

-FOUR DAYS ELEPHANT TRACK
This tour can be done for four days , leaving Mann’s spring camp to the Drinking Garri camp which is found within the Elephants habitat, next day descend to Bakingili Village west coast of Limbe the the Atlantic Ocean town
