Doulgala, a 45-year-old resident of Bohu County, Xinjiang, was once a typical herdsman who manually gathering and moving the camels across vast open plains. But he has given up his nomadic ways and now uses an unmanned aerial vehicle to track his herd, which makes his work easier and more efficient.
“以前甚至要花两三天才能追上失踪的骆驼，而且在路上我们得忍饥挨渴。骆驼可以承受恶劣的条件，但对我们这些牧民来说真的很难。后来用摩托车放牧，可是牧场上的碎石经常刺破轮胎，车要是坏了我们也不得不在户外过夜。”新疆博湖县的牧民Doulgala说，“现在所有骆驼都装上了北斗项圈，我们可以坐在家里看着它们。能用上这个新科技，我特别高兴。”

At the Kamusitebulake Racecourse in Qiwukeleze Town,Tekes County, Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, 17 teams from both southern and northern Xinjiang competed for the championship title in the inaugural "Tianshan Knight" Cup Buzkashi Finals under the warm winter sun. (The Buzkashi is a horseback competition for possession of a goat.)

January 5, a traditional archery competition kicked off at the Urumqi Cultural Center in Urumqi. This event is not just a contest of skill, but also a tribute and continuation of ancient traditions. This competition invited over 50 archery enthusiasts from Altay Prefecture, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, and other areas to gather together in a friendly exchange of skills.

⛄️⛄️⛄️Recently, the Ahe Highway (Altay - Hemu), with a total length of over 200 kilometres, was put into winter operation for the first time, reducing the original 6-hour journey to 3 hours. This road is like an "oil painting corridor" -- we can enjoy numerous natural landscapes such as mountains, forests, grasslands, lakes, rivers, wetlands, gorges, rock forests and ancient glacier ruins along the way.
