D3: Arrive in Turpan in the morning; visit Karez Wells and Flaming Mountain. Board the train to Kashgar in the afternoon. Overnight on the train.
D4: Reach Kashgar in the afternoon. Attend the Western Regions ethnic welcome banquet. Check into a high-end hotel in downtown Kashgar.
D5: Travel along the China-Pakistan Friendship Highway to the Pamir Plateau. Visit Baisha Mountain & Baisha Lake, Karakul Lake and overlook Muztagh Ata. Return and stay overnight in Kashgar.
D6: Tour Kashgar Ancient City, Id Kah Mosque and Gaotai Folk Houses; experience traditional Uyghur handicrafts. Board the train to Kuqa in the evening. Overnight on the train.
D7: Explore Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon. Traverse the southern section of Duku Highway, head to Bayanbulak to watch swan lake and the sunset over Nine-Twists & Eighteen-Turns. Overnight at local hotel.
D8: Cross the middle section of Duku Highway. Spend the whole day visiting Narat Sky Grassland, experience Kazakh ethnic culture and enjoy the whole roasted lamb feast. Overnight at scenic area hotel.
D9: Visit Tianshan Huahai Lavender Scenic Area and Liuxing Street multi-ethnic cultural block in Yining. Check into a high-end downtown hotel in Yining.
D10: Full-day tour of Sayram Lake; taste Sayram Lake whitefish specialty meal. Board the train to Beitun in the afternoon. Overnight on the train.
D11: Arrive in Beitun in the morning. Transfer to Hemu Scenic Area, visit Hemu River Valley and Tuvan villages. Enjoy scenic tea break and travel photography. Overnight in wooden chalet inside the scenic area.
D12: Watch sunrise over Hemu in the early morning, then proceed to Kanas to explore the Three Bays and take a Kanas cruise. Overnight at scenic homestay.
D13: Climb Guanyu Platform for a panoramic view of Kanas. Head to Burqin for the cold-water fish feast. Board the train to Urumqi from Beitun in the evening. Overnight on the train.
D14: Arrive in Urumqi in the morning. Visit Tianshan Heavenly Lake Scenic Area and enjoy the Yaochi Feast. Check into a downtown high-end hotel.
D15: Board the train for the return journey after breakfast. Join onboard chess activities and folk song gatherings. Overnight on the train.
