ABOUT ARCHITECTURE ON THE ROAD
This blog is born from my desire to share with travelers and interested people the architectural beauty of our planet. One of the main features of my travels has always been the interest in the local, traditional and regional culture, and the architecture is definitely one of the most clear and tangible expressions of it. I like to see how a house (one of the most u
niversal things) may be a thousand times different, though still a house. I like to observe how the various parts of a building can be transformed, and find endless different languages. I like to observe how a population expresses his belonging to a specific culture, inventing languages and styles that represent and identify with. I like to see how the architecture changes according to places and needs, and how popular wisdom finds the answers to the needs of human life. I LIKE TO TRAVEL AND SEE THE AMAZING PLACES THAT ARCHITECTS WITHOUT A NAME HAVE CREATED AROUND THE WORLD. I’m an architect, but this is not a blog just for architects. It ‘a blog open to all the curious of the world and to all the people fascinated by the diversity. I hope that with this blog I can inspire people to travel and to understand and appreciate the local architectural heritage.
