📍Protestant Church, Qingdao - China 🇨🇳

Another beautiful photo-stop..

Protestant Church is perched on a small hill, overlooking Old Town Qingdao. Designed and built by a German designer in 1908.

The beautiful yet simple design makes the church attractive to visit and one of the prettiest.

The bell tower is 40 meters high and rings hourly – made and imported from Germany especially for the church. The outside is again constructed with granite base.

It is open to visit, and you are able to climb to top of the bell tower to look at the bell clock mechanics – it has a working German motor from 1909. If we are lucky you can watch the bell being hit.

📍South Gate to Heavan⛩️, Mount Tai Shan - China 🇨🇳

Leader of the Five Sacred Mountains; Mount Tai'an

You can start to see the changing colours of the hillside, from green to orange and red..

This last stretch of the famed, and gruelling '18 bends' a series of very steep steps leading to the South Gate to Heavan.

Perched between a pair of steep cliffs and canyons, this is the entrance way to the top of mountain. From here requires a further 30 minute hike to the Jade Emperor Peak at 1532m

Dotted along the paths to the top are numerous temples, shrines, inscriptions and monuments dedicated to past travelers and emperors who have scaled its peak.

We can include a day tour to Mount Tai along with a visit to Dai Temple for you, giving you the best experience to explore this unique spot.
