China's government plays a key role when it comes to promoting sustainability in the Country and empowering industries to innovate towards that goal. Examples are multiple but perhaps the most notable one is the Electric Vehicles industry in which China clearly leads the path worldwide in several ways.

Nicolas De Toledo has shared his view and examples on the topic with Allnews, a leading Swiss-based online economic newspaper. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to share some thoughts and hopefully inspire other countries and companies in learning from China also on this regard!

Selon Nicolas de Toledo de Mosaiq, la Chine est devenue le plus grand investisseur en énergie propre.

How does China feel today? Around 20 Swiss students placed in China this summer as part of their first international professional experience provided by Integrate Chinese Life (ICL), enjoyed a different Shanghai immersion session prepared by Mosaīq team.

In a very compact afternoon, we aimed at showing our young guests a glimpse of what our clients can experience in larger length when they visit China’s innovation hubs on our Learning Expeditions. It was a session full of hands on learnings on China’s key trends that included a visit to the New Retail ‘Hema Supermarket’ (Alibaba Group), the Propaganda Poster Art Center and to the traditional Shanghai Parks.

Well done ICL, it was pleasure collaborating with you. To all students: best of luck in your future endeavors!

The news came this week that Alibaba Group has acquired NetEase's import e-commerce platform Kaola for approximately $2 billion USD.

Alibaba’s Tmall Global and Kaola are China’s largest and second-largest cross-border e-commerce platforms with a combined market share of around 50%. Their union will far outstrip their rivals JD Worldwide, VIP international and Amazon China - worth noting that NetEase was reportedly in talks to merge Kaola with Amazon CN earlier this year.
