A 2,447-pound magnetic levitation vehicle accelerated from rest to 497 mph in just 5.3 seconds on a 1-kilometre test track at Donghu Laboratory in China’s Hubei province.

The run marked the platform’s third short-distance maglev acceleration world record in six months, testing electromagnetic propulsion, levitation, positioning, and braking technologies.

Magnetic forces lifted the vehicle above the guideway, eliminating wheel-rail friction, while electromagnetic coils created a travelling magnetic wave to propel it forward.

After reaching 497 mph (800 km/h), the vehicle reportedly stopped smoothly within slightly more than 656 feet, while track deviations were limited to just 0.5 millimetres.

The technology could support future ultra-high-speed transport and may eventually be adapted for electromagnetic launches of rockets and fighter jets.

Mutianyu Great Wall Adventure 🚠🏞️

Get ready for epic history and stunning mountain views at the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall! With its winding stone paths and rolling greenery, this spot is less crowded than Badaling but equally breathtaking—perfect for a legendary climb and some killer photos.

Start your day early—arriving in the morning helps you dodge crowds and the midday sun. Purchase your tickets on-site or by scanning the QR code at the entrance (international cards accepted). Pro tip: Get the combo ticket (about 200 RMB) for a stress-free cable car ride up, then take the thrilling toboggan slide 🛝 back down for a rush and gorgeous vantage points all the way. If you’re feeling energetic, a 60 RMB ticket gives you a 1.2 km trek up to the Wall—the climb is steep, so know your limits!

Must-do activities include exploring Towers 14 to 23 (the most photogenic segment), taking a panoramic shot from Tower 20, and pausing for a snack with killer views. For that "Insta-worthy" snap, perch on the ramparts looking east over the endless wall—sunrise or early morning light is magical.

Practical tips: Bring snacks and extra water—vendors at the top charge high prices (think 35 RMB for an ice cream that’s 4 RMB in town, and water routinely 10-15 RMB vs. usual 2 RMB!). Bargain if you must buy. Ticket counters close for lunch, so plan ahead for midday arrivals. And always, check the weather before you go; this hike is way better (and safer) on a clear day!

YouTube automation is a way to run a YouTube channel without manually creating every piece of content.

Instead of doing everything (script, voice, editing, thumbnails), you outsource or automate most tasks.
🔹 How it works:
Choose a niche (e.g., travel, business tips, facts, tech)
Script writing → done by a freelancer or AI
Voiceover → AI voice or hired voice artist
Video editing → freelancer edits clips, adds visuals
Thumbnail & upload → optimized for clicks
👉 You manage the channel, but others (or tools) do the work.

Follow for more tips.
