Por los siguientes cuatro días y tres noches fuimos adoptados por la comunidad motoquera de Rondônia.
For the next 4 days and 3 nights we were adopted by the Rondonia motorcycle community.
Salimos de Vilhena con el objetivo de quedarnos en Jaru. Paramos en Pimienta Bueno a tanquear motos y panzas y ahí nos saludó un señor con el que empezamos a hablar, Valdinei.
We left Vilhena with the objective of staying in Jaru. We stopped in Pimienta Bueno to fill up the bikes and our stomachs and there a guy named Valdinei started taking to us.
Valdinei es de Rolim de Moura y nos contó que su ciudad estaba celebrando su 34 aniversario y que habría un encuentro de motoqueros para la celebración.
Valdinei is from Rolim de Moura and told us that the city is celebrating it's 34th anniversary and there would be a motorcycle rally for the celebration.
Valdinei nos contacto con Willson. Willson llego a la estación de gasolina donde estábamos para conocernos y contarnos más sobre el encuentro.
Valdinei put us in contact with Wilson who came to the gas station to meet us and tell us more about the meetup.
Decidimos ir al encuentro. Willson no podía ir, pero él ya había contactado a los organizadores del evento y wllos nos estaban esperando en Rolim de Moura.
We decided to go to the party. Wilson couldn't go, but had already contacted the event organizers and they were expecting us in Rolim de Moura.
Seguimos a Valdinei hasta Rolim de Moura. A la entrada dela ciudad vimos a todos los motoqueros esperando por nosotros. Valdinei siguió derecho y nosotros también porque lo íbamos siguiendo 😂
We followed Valdinei until Rolim de Moura and at the entrance to the city we saw a big group of motorcyclists waiting for us but Valdinei kept going and so did we since we were following him. 😂
Más adelante paramos y allí llegaron todos los motoqueros. Un cálido saludo de parte de Atila, Fernando y los demás muchachos (disculpen no nos acordamos de todos los nombres) y seguimos hacia el centro de la ciudad.
We stopped shortly and the rest of the motorcylists caught up with us. We got a warm welcome from Átila, Fernando, and the rest of the guys (sorry we do not remember everyone's names!) And we followed them to the city center.
Ahí nos encontramos con Templario uno de los organizadores del encuentro. Templario nos ofreció su hogar pars que nos quedaramos en carpa. Él nos presentó a Emanuel quién también ofreció su casa para que nos quedáramos. Nos quedamos con Emanuel para no sacar la carpa y poder al día siguiente salir temprano. Quedamos en que desayunaríamos con Templario en su casa.
Once there we met with Templario, one of the organizers of the rally. Templario had a full house already but offered us a spot for our tent. He also introduced us to Emanual who has a spot for us at his house. We stayed with him to save some time in the morning not having to pack up the tent and get on the road early after meeting for breakfast at Templarios.
Todo el resto de la tarde lo pasamos con los motoqueros. Mirando motos, compartiendo historias y conociendo gente linda. En esas conocimos a Antonio Andarilho quién nos dio un buen contacto para Manaus.
We spent the rest of the afternoon with the motorcyclists. Looking at bikes, sharing stories, and meeting nice people. In this way we met Antonio Andarilho who gave us a good contact for Manaus.
También conicimos a Pamela, Darwin y Paulinha. Motoqueros de Presidente Médici. Así pasamos toda la tarde y al llegar la noche todas las motos salimos a dar na vuelta por la ciudad. Después de eso le pedimos a Emanuel ir a su casa para bañarnos y cambiarnos de ropa.
We also met Pamela, Darwin and Paulinha, motorcyclists from Presidente Médici. In the evening all the motos took a lap around the city. After that we ditched the bikes and the moto gear at Emanuels and had a shower before returning to the party for some food, beers, and live music.
Volvimos al encuentro y tomamos sopa, comimos tapioca y tomamos algunas cervezas con todos los muchachos mientras escuchábamos musica en vivo.
Al siguiente día nos estabamos alistando para seguir nuestra ruta y llegaron Darwin y Pamela para ir juntos a la casa de Templario. Luego llego un chico con el bombillo delantero de La Tornado (se había fundido). Él cambió el bombillo y todos nos fuimos a la casa de Templario.
The next day we were getting ready and Darwin and Pamela came by to accompany us to breakfast. Andrews headlight had burnt out the night before and someone showed up with a new bulb to replace it!
En la casa de Templario conocimos su linda familia y desayunamos con todos los motoqueros que se habían quedado en su casa.
We met Templario's family and ate breakfast with the moteros that had stayed at his house.
Salimos de la casa de Templario y nos fuimos con Pamela y Darwin, pues ellos viven en dirección a Porto Velho. Paramos en un "viñedo" a tomar jugo de uva. Luego más adelante a almorzar y finalmente paramos a conocer sus perritos en la casa de ellos.
We got on the road and went with Pamela and Darwin in the direction of Porto Velho, with a stop to drink some grape juice from a winery(?) and finally to meet their dogs.
Darwin nos contactó con los chicos de Zadoque M.C. en Ariquemes. Llegamos a la ciudad como a las 18:00 horas.
Darwin put us in contact with guys from the Zadoque Motorcycle Club in Ariquemes and we arrived at 18:00.
Esperamos en una estación de gasolina hasta que llegó Claudio. Él nos llevó donde Aldo y Macuxi. Todos ellos estaban ocupados acompañando un desfile de orgullo gay por la ciudad. Nos ofrecieron irnos de una a la base, pero yo dije que podíamos acompañarlos.
We waited at a gas station until Claudio arriver who brought us to Aldo and Macuxi. They were busy providing traffic control for a gay pride parade in the city. They offered to take us to the clubhouse but we just followed them in escorting the parade.
Cuando se terminó el desfile nos comimos un helado con Macuxi. Después fuimos a la base donde nos pusímos cómodos y compartimos un rato agradable con todo el grupo.
When the parade ended we are an ice cream with Macuxi and then headed to the clubhouse.
Luego nos fuimos a comer comida rápida con Aldo, su esposa, Antonio y un chico del cual no nos acordamos su nombre.
Later we went for fast foof food Aldo, his wife, Antonio, and another guy.
Al siguiente día a las 06:30 horas desayunamos con Macuxi. Aldo nos puso en contacto con Tirosh, quien al llegar a Porto Velho nos recogió en una estación de gasolina y nos llevó a la casa de Papaléguas (correcaminos).
The next day at 06:30 we had breakfast with Macuxi. Aldo put us in contact with Tirosh, who met us at a gas station in Porto Velho and brought us to the house of Papaleguas (road runner).
Papaléguas nos acogió en su hogar y ahí nos preparamos pata la ruta 319. En la cada de Papaléguas había un motoquero argentino. Los cuatro nos fuimos a almorzar y luego del almuerzo fuimos a arreglar una exploradora de Pikachu y la parrila de La Tornado que se había roto de nuevo.
Papaleguas took us into his home and we got ready for route 319. He was also hosting an Argentinian motorcycle traveler and we spend some time together including taking the Tornado to get the rear rack welded back together and reinforced.
Ya en la noche a descansar para tener eneegías para nuestra última trocha la Ruta BR319.
We rested at night to get ready for our last dirt road. The route BR319.
