Mientras realizábamos nuestro habitual taller de fotografia documental en Getsemaní, nos topamos con una gran iniciativa de ejemplo para los adultos locales de Getsemaní y sus visitantes. Al comando de una docente y la autorización de los padres de familia, estas chiquitas recorren el barrio para recolectar los sucios tirados a las calles. Si bien ellas deberían estar corriendo o jugando decidieron tomar su tiempo y tarde para decirles a todas las personas "Cada metro cuadrado hace la diferencia" Cuidemos Nuestro Barrio.

Siempre con el propósito de preservar el legado de Getsemaní y trabajar mancomunadamente te recomendamos adoptar buenas prácticas:

👉 No arrojes colillas de ci******lo a la calle son las más difíciles de erradicar.

👉 Evita hacer ruido con la bocina de tu carro, no promuevas la contaminación auditiva.

👉 No escondas las botellas de cerveza en las plantas o ventanas así como la compra en la tienda devuelve el envase.

Sé un buen local, Sé un buen viajero

🇦🇺While having our documentary photography workshop in Getsemaní, we came across a great initiative that sets an example for local adults and visitors alike. Under the guidance of a teacher and with parental consent, these young girls walk around the neighborhood collecting litter from the streets. Even though they could be running or playing, they chose to spend their afternoon sending a message to everyone: "Every square meter makes a difference. Let’s take care of our neighborhood"

With the goal of preserving Getsemaní’s legacy and working together as a community, we encourage you to adopt good practices:

👉 Do not throw cigarette butts on the street—they are among the hardest types of litter to remove.

👉 Avoid honking your car horn unnecessarily—help reduce noise pollution.

👉 Don’t hide beer bottles in plants or windows—just as you bought them at the store, return them properly.

Be a nice local, Be a nice traveler!

It was an immense pleasure to enjoy the 2025 Red Moon. In all its splendor, under favorable weather conditions, we were able to observe this authentic natural phenomenon from Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. We started tracking the eclipse at 9.30 pm, 10:30 pm, 11:30 pm, we fell asleep then 1:30 am, 2.30am till 2.40 am

The first phase was taken without a tripod - when the red phase started we worked with tripod, long exposure and remote shutter from the phone.

The next total lunar eclipse will occur on September 7 and 8, 2025, and will be visible primarily in Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Prepare your camera!
