Hi all! I haven’t posted in quite a while on Cantico... I am now The Bike House Costa Rica, doing mountain bike vacation. My company here is still under the name of Cantico. Kayaks were eaten by the weather in Cost Rica, so no more... I still have my fly fishing equipment but haven’t thrown a line in quite a while. I have to say I think of fly fishing lots lately...
i now focus on mountain bike and am building trails for El Chaguite trail center.

Today was car fixing again but its all good. I also collected my stuff from Playa del Coco and probably have to make one more trip and I move to my new place. This new place will be a very nice little house with 4 cabinas in Tempatal in Bahia Salinas. This place I have named The Bike House! Since less then 3 km away we will have 12 km over 3 different connecting loop of single track cross country mountain biking I thought it was appropriate to give the place such a name. Starting in June you will be able to book your stay at the Bike House and a full suspension bike if needed. I am working at finishing my web site and a new page. Tomorrow back on the trail with 2 recruits to help, one from England and one from Switzerland. Tomorrow will be rocking!

Day 2, we have set a total 12 km of single track over three different loop. Pretty excited about our achievement not to mention the many scratches we collected along the way! The bush is nasty here! Most of the single tracks are already existing from old caddle trails. Tomorrow we will tie in the loos end! It's all looking pretty exciting with gradual climbs, interesting use of the land and some fun and long flowing downhills! Can't wait to ride it! Thanks Kirk for your help! Thanks Hacienda Cenizaro

Awesome day!

Today was an epic day! I laid the first cross country trail with the help from my Fernie friend Kirk Hampson. Being from the Mecca of mountain biking in British Columbia this trail will be fantastic! We nailed 4 km today and will continue tomorrow for a total of 12 km of awesome cross country at it best! A very heart filled thank you to Adrian of Hacienda Cenizaro.
