Doch ist die beeindruckende Schlucht in der Nähe des Vulkan Poás, Costa Rica, wirklich so unbedenklich? 🌋

Welcome to Quemaderos del Poás or better known as "Cañón de Mordor". 💫
Beautiful blue waterfalls, colorful nature and a mystic canyon like "Mordor" of "The Lord of the Rings" hide between the mountains 🌱⛰️
⚠️ But watch out: The access is dangerous and illegal: the police started punishing the access to the Poás National Park - area where the canyon is located 👮🏽
Guided tours are offered but NOT allowed. We did one of these tours and were not informed about the restrictions (we were told that these trips are illegal when we arrived at the top and police officers were there) ⛔
🥾 A unique experience but definitely not recommended because of the dangers hiding in this area and the legal situation.
