Did you know that sloths are considered solitary animals? This is because wild sloths spend a majority of their time on their own. But this doesn’t mean they never want to interact with each other!

When orphaned sloths come into rescue centers, they are often introduced to other orphaned sloths to give them companionship. 🫂 Normally, young sloths would have their mother. So it can be beneficial for them to have a friend as they go through a rehabilitation journey to the wild. 🌳🦥
