I was coming up from the Metro exit on my way to find my hotel in the Galleria Vik. I mean yeah the Metro stop was called Duomo but I had no idea what I was about to see!!

It literally brought a tear to my eye I was so blown away as I came up the stairs and saw this magnificent cathedral come into view. Holy sh*t was all I could mutter.

On my way nonstop from Rome to Milan! What a great trip it has been so far. :) Lots to post when I get the time.
I think I'll be napping on this train though. LoL Nice seats on this train! Did i pay for a higher class?

Hotel to metro was an easy walk in front of the Spanish Steps, Metro was a few minutes to Roma Termini train station, then I just had to wait until the train came and was posted on the board. Now only 3 hours to go pretty much half the length of the country.

Arrived, whew! 🇮🇹 The team is together! Feeling quite travel weary. No sleep, hot, sweaty. Another 2 hours or so until we're at the hotel. I sure picked a great window seat on the train to enjoy the country! :/

Priority Pass members are getting a huge airport upgrade over the next 12 months. It has definitely gotten worse over the years; fewer lounges, longer wait times, no more restaurant credit. We'll see how this goes!

Shift, pivot, flip, and spin! That seems to be the travel theme lately.
Last minute itinerary flip, cancel/rebook a whole slew of flights, scramble to shift location/dates, change hotel booking, all for different trips! OMG what next?! LoL

🇹🇭 Planning a trip to Thailand? There’s an important visa change coming September 15, 2026 🇹🇭

Thailand is cutting the current 60-day visa-free stay down to 30 days for travelers from 60 countries and territories.
In addition, 21 nationalities will lose visa-exempt status entirely.

The Thai government says the changes are intended to address misuse of the visa system, discourage illegal employment, and crack down on crimes involving foreign nationals.

Remember the old days when your loved ones would meet you at your gate on arrival? Well now they can! On Sept 1, 2026 TSA I introduced Gateside by TSA PreCheck that allows approved non-ticketed passengers past security!

You must be a current TSA PreCheck member, have valid id, and the gotcha (sort of) is that you have to apply for it between 1 and 3 days ahead of when you want to get into the gated areas. You don't have to be meeting someone, you can just go into eat at a restaurant if you want. LoL
