✔️ Toucans are most active early in the morning (5:30–8:30 AM)

✔️ You don’t always need to go deep into Corcovado to see them — sometimes they’re right near town

✔️ They love fruit trees, especially papaya and wild figs

🌿 Bahía Drake is not just a destination — it’s a living rainforest. If you walk slowly, look up, and stay quiet, nature will surprise you.

Bahía Drake is a beautiful and remote destination, and that’s part of its magic. To enjoy your trip even more, here are a few important things to know:

• 💵 Bring cash – There are no ATMs in Bahía Drake, and not all places accept cards.

• 📶 Limited signal & internet – Some areas have weak or no signal, perfect to disconnect and enjoy nature.

• 🚤 Getting here is an adventure – Many travelers arrive by boat from Sierpe or by 4x4, especially in rainy season.

• 🌧️ Rain is normal – This is a rainforest! Rain keeps everything green and full of life.

• 🐒 Wildlife is everywhere – You may see monkeys, birds, frogs and more, even near your accommodation.

Bahía Drake is not about luxury, it’s about nature, simplicity and real experiences.
