The controversy is REAL! Cuban pizza, if we think about it, is closer to bread with cheese on top than to Italian pizza. Some places make a terrible rendition of it, and it tastes like a flip-flop (yes, like a flip-flop, there's no other way to describe it). Nevertheless, it is part of the Cuban experience, and you ought to try it.

If you love street food and have a stomach that handles different cuisines well, then head to your nearest cafeteria, pay for it, fold it, and eat it while you walk or sit at any random spot on the street. Be careful not to get burned or stained, as it’s common knowledge that servers will give you the pizza with just a piece of paper to hold it. So, be mindful of its heat (in the warm sense, not the spicy sense).
