🌴Fun Caribbean Fact: Rattan furniture became popular in the Caribbean through colonial trade routes from Southeast Asia. As a result, many homes in the Caribbean, including Curaçao, feature antique rattan pieces.

With a few rattan furniture items, we wanted to bring a bit of Curaçao’s history into Salty Stays’ cozy, modern, and homey space. This rattan-detailed cupboard adds the perfect island touch. 🪄
