Another successful cruise for Dee Vad to the Mexican Riviera for her birthday. Havana Cabana was booked on Carnival Cruise Line, this is an adult only section of the ship and only those in that category room have access to a private pool area! Last stop - KETCHIKAN
We took a foot tour of the town and went on an adventure. Visited the Totem Center where they preserve the last ones that stood standing. We walked back down to Creek street and seen all the salmon migrating back to lay their eggs. Then of course we bar hopped and had to try the duck farts. And we went to some guys playing with wood. A good time was had indeed.

It's Glacier Day!
The largest one we seen was just sitting at 300 feet above water and about a half mile long.
Passing through and seeing Dawes Glacier from our balconies was mesmerizing. So many waterfalls around us and that glacier blue water is beautiful. We needed a full view so we ran to the aft of the ship. I'm glad we both along with my mom, tio, tia and cousins were able to experience this. It was freezing cold, foggy and rainy but we wouldn't have sat this out. Cheers to another beautiful experience. And of course I needed a photo on the catamaran netting to get the views from behind and below.

Stop 3 - SKAGWAY
We did the White Pass railway, it was a 3 hour train ride that dropped us off in Fraser, Canada and a bus met us there to bring us back to Alaska. Beautiful experience! Once back in town our tour guide took us into the Red Onion Saloon to see how they operated back in the day and this was just wild. We walked the town until everyone came back from their train ride, shopped and had lunch together.

2nd stop - ICY STRAIT POINT
All 22 of us took the gondola up to the very top of the mountain, where once completed we were rewarded with a flight of beers to keep us warm. We learned about the story of JÉET from a member of the local tribe. Came back down and took the shuttle into their tiny town and met with the family at the brewery. Returned to the port and just took in nature's beauty where my little friend was out there waiting for me, he was otterly cute 😍

1st stop- SITKA!
We did the Triple Wild life Excursion.
First we visited my lovely bear family, then we seen the raptors and how they care for them and help the wounded ones sheltered. After that, we got a smaller boat to see whales, more bears and otters. The ride was beautiful and the air was just so crisp.

First 2 days of our trip began with leaving LAX with the family and settling in Seattle. Roamed the town had a great lunch and then on the ship we went. Spent first sea day with everyone that joined us this trip. Had a great pajama party and ate pizza with the fam in our "private room".

A week ago we returned from our amazing 11 day trip! Had a wonderful dinner on our last sea day together ❤️ Thank you Virgin Voyages and the wonderful staff for hosting us.
I can't thank you all enough for joining us. Love booking these group cruises, hope others can join us on one soon!
We started in Seattle, met up on board the Brilliant Lady then ended in Vancouver and we all stood there for 2 extra days.
Great time, food and company 🥰
