What an inspiring and productive mobility in Suceava, Romania 🇷🇴!

Under the scope of the Empowering Minds for Human Rights (EMHR) project, our team travelled to Suceava for a blended mobility filled with creativity, learning, and collaboration with the main goal of learning about and understanding basic human rights through their application in various interactive projects as well as physical and digital games designed by the partners' teams.

🎲 Educators and youth came together to playtest both the EMHR board game and the online game, helping us refine our tools for ethical thinking and human rights education.

⛰️From engaging workshops to unforgettable moments and scenery, this mobility was not only meaningful but also filled with laughter, new friendships, and shared goals. 💡

A huge thank you to everyone who made it special, there's definitely more to come as we continue the development of the game to minds across Europe! 🇪🇺

🌿 The Technologos team escaped to the Scottish Highlands! 🏔

As part of a team retreat inspired by our new project EmpowerED, which explores emotional regulation and financial sustainability, we took part in a basketry workshop in the wilds of Perthshire.

We learned to make willow swallows by hand, and it sparked a big conversation: Why are handmade, sustainable products undervalued, when mass produced plastic is cheap and everywhere? 🧺

Basketry reminded us how skill, time, and care shape real value for people and the planet. A perfect reflection of what EmpowerED is all about.

🧑‍🍳 By no means are we professional cooks, culinary geniuses, or skilled gardeners, yet here we are, baking breads from scratch, making pizzas and naan, experimenting with traditional pies like spanakopita, and even growing vegetables in our own apartments.
No fancy courses, no expensive cookbooks, no prior experience!🌱

So… how is this even possible?

✨ Through the use of AI, of course!
Everything you see in this post was the result of a simple conversation with a GPT model - tools like ChatGPT or Deepseek AI - combined with a bit of human curiosity and ex*****on.

By asking the right questions, we’ve been able to:
🥦 Learn which veggies to grow indoors based on our living conditions
🍞 Find baking recipes tailored to our dietary needs and whatever's left in our fridge
🍕 Adjust ingredients in any meal based on our taste, health goals, or budget
🌍 Travel the world through food, without leaving the kitchen!

And it doesn’t stop there.

💡 AI isn’t just about convenience - it’s a way to challenge yourself to try something new, learn new skills, and take ownership of how you eat, live, and spend your time.

Living more sustainably and being more financially responsible can start with something as small as a loaf of bread or a tray of homegrown microgreens. Cooking and baking your own meals, growing your own herbs or vegetables, even in a city apartment, can lead to real savings and healthier habits over time.

📢 We’re excited to share that our Erasmus+ KA2 project EmpowerED has been funded! 🇪🇺

🍃 EmpowerED brings together an inspiring group of European partners to co-create something truly special: a project designed to equip young people and educators with essential life skills — from financial literacy to emotional regulation, and a deep understanding of sustainability as a path to personal and community well-being.

🖥️ Through a creative mix of digital tools and hands-on experiences — some examples being: escape rooms and an interactive online Learning Machine System — and multiple international mobilities, ending in an exciting final conference in our home base, Cyprus 🇨🇾, we’ll be developing resources that make learning engaging, empowering, and fun.

We’re thrilled to be building new partnerships, strengthening international connections, and co-creating a meaningful project that supports youth across Europe.

Next stop: Kick-off meeting in Berlin! 🇩🇪

🌍 Our team had an incredible time in Madeira, Portugal, attending the Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) for Youthworkers under the Erasmus+ KA2 project, Empowering Minds for Human Rights (EMHR). For one week, we collaborated with amazing partners from Portugal, Sweden and Romania to deepen our understanding of human rights while working diligently on the development of a board game designed to inspire and educate youth on this important topic.

🎮 The work was intense, but this experience combined both productive teamwork and the opportunity to explore the stunning beauty of Madeira, creating a perfect balance between work and cultural immersion.

Special thanks to My Madeira Island for being an exceptional host and making this experience unforgettable. Looking forward to seeing the impact of the project come to life! 💡
