2. Do Not Touch, Feed, or Chase: Never touch, pet, or ride sea turtles—this is illegal in many areas and can result in fines. Do not feed them, as this disrupts their natural diet and behavior. Avoid chasing or circling them, which causes severe stress.

3. Approach and Observe Respectfully: Approach turtles from the side, not head-on or from behind, so they can see you and choose to swim away. Never swim directly above them, as they need unobstructed access to the surface to breathe.
