TRAIL RUNNING IN CYPRUS 15.10.26

Did you know, Zephyros Adventure Sports offer a guided trail running service.

Our trail running guide will choose a route with a length and level of difficulty that depends on what YOU want from your run. Any distance from 5 to 50 kilometers.

We provide transport and all of the peripheral kit you might need; backpack, poles, hydration options, etc.

We'll take you to some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Cyprus and visit places away from the usual tourist spots.

These two talented trail runners from the UK chose a 13k route which included slippery descents and tough climbs. As well as beautiful mountain scenery AND a Venetian bridge.

ROCK CLIMBING IN CYPRUS.

Climbing until the sun goes down.

Today, we were privileged to work again with an amazing private school from Bucharest, Romania.

The students come to Cyprus every year as part of their GCSE coursework studies in geography and PE.

The PE students spend time with us, consolidating their climbing, abseiling, knot tying and rope handling skills, whilst being filmed for assessment by exam moderators in the UK.

It's a long day, with lots of challenges to work through - we are constantly pushing the students and expect them to perform to a high standard for the exam moderators.

And they all did an amazing job! Every single student rose to our challenges and climbed brilliantly!

They displayed high levels of teamwork, resilience and resourcefulness.

Congratulations to each and every one of you!

Zephyros Adventure Sports are licensed and approved providers of climbing tuition for all UK examination boards.

We provide PE training for numerous schools, based in, or visiting Cyprus.

HIKING IN THE TROODOS MOUNTAINS 12.10.26

On this hike, we followed an ancient trading route, visiting FOUR Venetian bridges, all hidden deep in the forest.

We also spent time foraging - discussing what Venetian traders might have eaten during their travels.

Finally, we visited the gorgeous mountain village of Kaminaria where we were treated to the most generous hospitality by some of the locals - inviting us in to their homes to share cold drinks and food!

Such a fun day on the trails.
