These Gardens under the Prague Castle are amazing, steep and not very crowded as the entry from the top - castle is closed for years… It is really a nice hidden gem you can visit during your stay in Prague. There are four gardens connected to each other by many many little doorway openings. Each garden is a bit different and you can find beautiful viewpoints, tower and a gazebo…

Sassi di Matera is not only an UNESCO site, but also one of the oldest inhabited locations in the world. And you can get there for cheap AF… my flight ticket cost 17€ and the bus from the airport cost only 3,80€ and thats it… what do you think? do you like it?

Athens is an ultimate combo holiday destination. There are not only amazing historical sights in the city, but also a short tram ride away are many sandy beaches and a port that will take you to other Greek islands.
When you reach the shore by the tram, there are so many beaches that it is really hard to choose. I recommend taking a longer ride (about an hour from Syntagma Square) and going to the last tram stop. The beach there is wonderful and you can get an umbrella and lounges for free when you buy a drink at the beach bar. Nice deal and good drinks. Have you been to the Athens beaches? Ok, let's not forget that there are other things in Athens than ancient monuments. There are also many beaches, port and parks. One of the parks is right next to the parliament building on the Syntagma square. It is called the National Garden and it is divine.

It had more than 15 000 exotic trees, plants and flowers that were imported from all over the world in 1839 and many of them are still alive. Tucked between the threes there are many cafes, turtle pond, sculptures, fountains and a mini zoo. Do you enjoy visiting parks when traveling or do you prefer the sights?

As I mentioned in the post before, Athens is full of historical sights, from the famous Acropolis to many different archaeological sites, parks and other monuments created in Ancient Greece.

The most important and well known is the Acropolis. Acropolis is an ancient citadel containing several ancient buildings of great importance. The most known is the Parthenon. To get to the hill top of Acropolis, you will visit many different ancient treasures on the way, like Roman theatre Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

For me, the best part was the entrance to the Acropolis. That is the only part where you go through one of the monuments itself. The path is made above the original path and all the columns are so close and so gigantic, it is a pretty cool entrance.

Welcome to the birthplace of democracy, philosophy, arts and culture of western civilization. It is home of many great philosophers of the past like Plato or Socrates. It is also the oldest capital city in the world.

Today, it is a great combination of historical and modern. Modern metro system built and entered via buildings that were built BC. Modern hotels overlooking the Acropolis from their rooftop bars. Historic Plaka hosting modern type cafes and cuisines from all over the world.

This garden deserves its own post! I love love love this garden, I think it is one of the most amazing gardens I have ever seen. Giardino Giusti. It has everything. The posh garden with labyrinth, then a green pergola with an amazing view of the garden and Verona, a grotta with wild paths around it and the tower. But the tower doesn't end with a simple view from the top, no...there is another part of the garden! With amazing views, beautiful greenery and it makes you fall in love with it. Have you been there? Is there somebody here who has seen it?

This garden deserves its own post! I love love love this garden, I think it is one of the most amazing gardens I have ever seen. It has everything.
