A wonderful, large-format book for young and old from the age of 8 is now available in German language.
The book entitled "Abenteuer Welterbe - Entdecke besondere Orte in Deutschland" (World Heritage Adventure - Discover Special Places in Germany) presents all currently existing UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Germany in a child-friendly way.
I feel very honoured to have been chosen for a full-page interview here for the section "Explaining World Heritage" as an architectural mediator on my special city tours in Berlin.

As part of the measures to contain the Covid-19 virus, there are of course no guided tours at present.
According to the current resolutions by the Berlin Senate (as of April 13th, 2021), this will be the case until at least May 9th, 2021.

Of course, we can creatively use the technical possibilities for online tours and lectures.
Likewise, you can still purchase vouchers or request group tours for when they are possible again.

A nice report about the "Infostation Siemensstadt" and above all "Man with hat Tours":

Today is World Water Day.

Since July 2017 I support the project "Refill Berlin" !
The yearly "World Water Day" (https://www.worldwaterday.org/) is a nice opportunity to convince more businesses to support the project.

At that time I was the first institution far and wide in the area with Infostation - Veranstaltungsräume & Informationsstelle im UNESCO-Welterbe
Unfortunately, hardly anything has changed.

Interesting visit to the "Infostation Siemensstadt":

The author Suza Kolb visited the Berlin UNESCO world cultural heritage site "Großsiedlung Siemensstadt".

Since "Man with a hat tours" also offers research assistance, she booked an exclusive guided tour.
During such tours it is possible to see areas which are not open to the public and which have to be omitted during normal guided tours.

Finally, the man with the hat gave an interview at the "Infostation Siemensstadt".
All this for a special book project - but more only after publication in spring 2021 !
