We were proud to celebrate the opening of Selene's new shipyard with the global Selene family in December of 2025. Lion dances are a long-standing tradition at business openings, new factories and boat launches. The lion is believed to chase away bad spirits and bring good fortune and prosperity, so it's a fitting way to bless the new facility and every boat built there.

Three Selene yachts took to the water in a parade choreographed by Howard Chen, with dancing lions on their foredecks as the bows swung toward the dock. It was a memorable moment to share with fellow dealers, owners and guests from around the world. 🌏⚓

The Selene 66 Classic Explorer is the flagship evolution of Selene’s traditional ocean trawler fleet.
