Bodegas Enguera uses bats (not pictured 😎) for pest control! That’s amongst the plenty of things we learned about this winery near Valencia when taking the tour and tasting with Pedro Perez (pictured).

Great tasting stop last Friday at Hofmann Willems. Touring with a group of wine lovers from Norway… Warm welcome… a tour of the cellars topped by barrel tasting of a Weißburgunder aka Pinot Blanc in Federweisser-state and in adult version. Love my job!

A Riesling sparkling wine… one version finished, one version in-the-making.

Me & my friend Riesling. No crisp acidity to this cutie, though. He’s more a Pinot Grigio to me. He won’t care as long as he gets a good dog scratch. 😀
