Bodegas Enguera uses bats (not pictured 😎) for pest control! That’s amongst the plenty of things we learned about this w**ery near Valencia when taking the tour and tasting with Pedro Perez (pictured).

Great tasting stop last Friday at Hofmann Willems. Touring with a group of w**e lovers from Norway… Warm welcome… a tour of the cellars topped by barrel tasting of a Weißburgunder aka Pinot Blanc in Federweisser-state and in adult version. Love my job!

Me & my friend Riesling. No crisp acidity to this cutie, though. He’s more a Pinot Grigio to me. He won’t care as long as he gets a good dog scratch. 😀
