I am so deeply touched because “my daughter is either my best friend, or satan. There’s no inbetween!” You know what I mean?! 🤣
Sincerely though this made me cry because just when I think I could possibly be doing everything wrong she goes and does this for me. Best present ever❤️❤️

Dear Sienna, I may annoy you, lecture you, embarrass you, drive you crazy, and even make you hate me some days. But no one will ever love you like I do. Love, Mom xoxo

😂🤣 This is what it takes to get a picture with an 11 year old when it’s in front of 2 people kissing lol! He said “awww helllll nooo!” I totally get it as it’s sooooo gross right?! 🤣
I’m not sure what tactic I used to get him to comply and get in the picture with me but I’m sure it has something to do with a toy or food! Got the picture at the end anyways! Wooot woot! 😎🥳🤪

Ok so about this artwork! Just wow holy wow wow!

At first glance the ‘Kiss Of Freedom’ mural in Plaça d’Isidre Nonell looks like a large painting but lo and behold it’s actually a mural made up of thousands of tiny ceramic tiles with a picture of a person, a moment, an event, or something which in some way expresses freedom. This photo mosaic was designed by Joan Fontcuberta & uses images all taken by local residents…. it was installed in 2014 as part of Barcelona’s Tricentenary celebrations commemorating the fall of Barcelona during The War of The Spanish Succession.

The plaque next to the mosaic reads: “The sound of a kiss is not as loud as that of a cannon, but it’s echo lasts a great deal longer.” ~ Oliver Wendell Holmes

A little more from Gavin’s and mine adventure at the incredible Park Güell. We decided if we lived in Barcelona we’d spend a lot of time there. The hilly park is very expansive at 12 hectares (29.65 acres) and has beautiful views at every turn… and they do lots of free concerts! What a way to end your exercise for the day💪🥰
I believe my ticket was just 10 euro and Gavin’s was 7 - what a deal! They even have a cafe and bar 😁

On a side note: Sadly, Sienna Rayne caught a little bugaroo that kept her from wanting to do too much while we were in Barcelona, so she hung back and worked on getting ahead in school. You won’t see too much of her in these posts. ☹️ So while I ran with Gavin to tire him out 🤪 she got to spend a lot of 1 on 1 time with her Daddy so how awesome is that! Every cloud has a silver lining ✨❤️

Ok so because I hardcore love the sea I have the tendency to forget things like the fact that Gavin & I can get sea sick if it’s choppy..
And this evening it was 😵‍💫🥴
BUT, it wasn’t supposed to be!

Me and my big ideas 🤷‍♀️

In my dreamy movie we are sailing away into the wild blue yonder and loving every minute of it dammit (oh and we remember the Dramamine so there’s no drama!)

Well at least with name the cloud games, Gavin learning some of the ropes, picture & video taking of the magical skyline at sunset, and salty peanuts we managed not to barf!
After all that we felt like celebrating & what better way than on solid sand with a view of the blood moon 😜
