As the wife being former and dedicated teacher for decades at The school of St Jude in Arusha-Tanzania before moved to Germany, we have passion to continue supporting the children and people of Tanzania through education by using abundant of Tanzania natural resources and that is tourism. The school gives a free, quality education to approx 1800 students as well as employment to almost 300 Tanzanian men and women. For every guest booking, Porcupine Tours give back the donation to the work of St Jude’s. This means you “Double your Experience” when you travel with Porcupine Tours, knowing that you are also contributing to the free, quality education of Tanzanian children and the future of Africa. New park fees and rules are shaking things up.

Here’s the cost you need to know before planning your dream safari:

Massive Fee Hike
• Non-residents now pay USD 100–200 per adult for a 12-hour period (up from USD 80 for 24 hours in 2023). That’s USD 200 off-peak or USD 400 peak for a full day a 150%–400% jump.

• Kids’ fees (ages 9–17) climbed from USD 45 for 24 hours to USD 50 per 12-hour period (USD 100 for 24 hours), a 122.22% increase.

12-Hour Rule Alert
• Tickets are now valid for only 12 hours (6:00 AM–6:00 PM). Staying overnight? You’ll pay for two 12-hour periods, doubling costs! E.g., a non-resident adult pays USD 400 for 24 hours in peak season vs. USD 80 in 2023.

• Late departures? Road exits after 10:00 AM or air exits after 10:00 AM mean an extra full-day fee (early morning flights are exempt).
