This one is simple but a game changer when it comes to taking quality toiletry and cosmetics but ensuring you keep your weight down and don’t over pack. Remember under 100ml international and 200ml diabetic if you take your toiletries in hand luggage.

Èze has been described as an “eagle’s nest” because of its location overlooking a high cliff 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level on the French Mediterranean.

Adverse to crowds, we decided to take an Uber up vs be squashed like sardines into the bus on a 35 degrees day. The €15 was well worth it.

Once up, follow the cobble stone path (and the trail of tourists) through the medieval village, pass through the turnstile and there you have the most beautiful view of the French Riveria 🇫🇷

We opted to climb back down to the coast. If you also want to give this a go, appropriate footwear is recommended - we wore sandals! The 45 minute descent over 2200 metres made me feel like a mountain goat. Bring plenty of water and stop frequently to enjoy the view.
