Painting these four tiny canvases was such a delight.

Little floral abstracts.

I let them hang out in the studio after they were done. Moving them from one corner, to a shelf, then the table. I thought… I’ll make them travel… around the room 😂

One rainy day, I forgot to close the window and ran up 3 flights to check on them 🌧

It’s ok, they’re all fine. (Whew!)

Earlier this month, one of them left the nest.

Where did she go?

How time flies ⏰😮

I haven’t been back to guiding travel clients since March 2020 😱

But the good news is, this made me think about the other stuff I love to do, wanted to try or was just curious about.

There was time to
🌳 walk and observe nature without listening to music or chatting with anyone. Nobody here but the trees and me 😆
🥬 visit organic markets 🥬 and eat flowers 🌼😁 (note to self: remember to bring your wallet 👻)
🎨 let go and paint (sometimes, I stare at a blank canvas 👀)
📝 and learn more things about windmills (they’re pretty amazing)!

Drop everything and take a walk. This is what I tell myself (on sunny days 😊)

The fresh air clears the mind, the sun caresses one’s spirit, the trees tower above and the wild flowers? Don’t they dance so gracefully? And the chicken… they cross the road just because 😁

This walk culminates at a tiny chapel surrounded by farms and fields.

People from far and near drop by and say a little prayer 🎶🙏❤️
