Phil and Vicky came from the United States — and from the first minute, it felt like exploring with old friends. 🥹
From Nyhavn to Gammel Strand, the Latin Quarter, churches and all the way to one of my favourite hidden gems — the basement of Paludan, Copenhagen's oldest bookstore café. 📚
We ended the tour with lunch together — surrounded by books, good food and even better conversation. 🍽️
💡 Copenhagen local tip: Most people walk past Paludan on Fiolstræde without knowing there's a magical basement full of old books underneath. Ask to go downstairs — it's worth it! 📚

מניהאון ועד גמל סטראנד, הרובע הלטיני, כנסיות וכל הדרך לאחד מהמקומות הנסתרים האהובים עליי — המרתף של פלודן, בית הקפה הספרייה הוותיק ביותר בקופנהגן. 📚
סיימנו את הסיור בארוחת צהריים יחד — מוקפים בספרים, אוכל טוב ושיחה טובה עוד יותר. 🍽️
💡 טיפ מקומי מקופנהגן: רוב האנשים עוברים ליד פלודן ברחוב פיולסטרדה בלי לדעת שיש מרתף קסום מלא בספרים ישנים למטה. בקשו לרדת — זה שווה את זה! 📚

Give Copenhagen a sunny day, and nobody stays home ☀️😄
💡 Copenhagen Tip: If the weather is nice, don't spend the whole day indoors. Head to the harbor areas and waterfront parks—even if you're not planning to swim.
That's where you'll find locals relaxing, socializing, and enjoying the city at its best.
📍Islands Brygge is one of my favorite spots for soaking up the summer atmosphere.

The Royal Run 2026 was two days ago and I just found out — there's a walking track too! 🚶‍♀️ The city hall bells, the crowd, the energy… pure Copenhagen magic.
Next year I'm definitely joining the walking track — will you? 🇩🇰

How do you keep kids engaged on a 6-hour walking tour? 👀
Apparently… you turn Copenhagen into Mission Impossible 🎯
“Your mission, should you choose to accept it…”
That’s how I opened couple of stops during a 6-hour family walking tourpn Saturday with a wonderful Jewish family visiting Copenhagen on their way to Stockholm.
Instead of a traditional sightseeing tour, we turned the city into a game: ✔ trivia questions
✔ mini missions
✔ hidden clues
✔ fun challenges
✔ and even small rewards 😄
With two teenagers (14 and 11), the goal was to keep it interactive, light, and full of energy — while naturally weaving in Copenhagen’s highlights and Jewish history along the way.
From Nyhavn to the Round Tower, we explored, laughed, solved challenges, ate together, and created memories that went far beyond a typical tour ✨
This is exactly why I love what I do — turning a city into an experience that feels alive, personal, and unforgettable. Copenhagen with kids? It doesn’t have to be “just another walking tour” 😉

ככה פתחתי בכמה תחנות במהלך סיור משפחתי של 6 שעות עם משפחה יהודית מקסימה שביקרה בקופנהגן בדרך לשטוקהולם.
במקום סיור רגיל בין אתרים, הפכנו את העיר למשחק: ✔ שאלות טריוויה
✔ משימות קטנות
✔ רמזים נסתרים
✔ אתגרים כיפיים
✔ ואפילו פרסים קטנים 😄
עם שני מתבגרים בני 14 ו־11, המטרה הייתה לשמור על סיור אינטראקטיבי, קליל ומלא אנרגיה — תוך שילוב טבעי של האתרים המרכזיים והסיפורים היהודיים של העיר.
מניהאבן ועד המגדל העגול, טיילנו, צחקנו, פתרנו משימות, אכלנו יחד ויצרנו זיכרונות שהם הרבה מעבר לסיור רגיל ✨
זה בדיוק מה שאני אוהבת בעבודה שלי — להפוך עיר לחוויה חיה, אישית ובלתי נשכחת.
👉 קופנהגן עם ילדים? זה ממש לא חייב להיות “עוד סיור רגיל” 😉

Mathew is a shipping engineer from Houston, Texas. He had only 16 hours in Copenhagen — a stopover — and another tour operator cancelled on him last minute.

From the harbor to Christianshavn, a Danish sausage from a street cart, and all the way up the Round Tower — history, food and local gems he never would have found on his own.

מתיו הוא מהנדס ספנות מיוסטון, טקסס. היו לו רק 16 שעות בקופנהגן — עצירת ביניים — ומפעיל סיורים אחר ביטל את הסיור ברגע האחרון.
הוא מצא אותי. והפכנו כל דקה למשמעותית. 🚢🇩🇰
מהנמל לכריסטיאנסהאון, נקניקייה דנית מעגלת רחוב, וכל הדרך למעלה במגדל העגול — היסטוריה, אוכל ואבני חן מקומיות שלעולם לא היה מוצא לבד.
לפעמים החוויות הכי טובות מגיעות מהרגעים הכי בלתי צפויים. 🥹

A street musician. A war memorial. And this song. 🎸
In the entrance of Nyhavn stands a memorial for the Danish navy soldiers who lost their lives in World War II. And on this day, a street musician was standing right there, singing "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." 🥹
Nobody planned this. Nobody staged it. This is just Copenhagen on a regular day. 🇩🇰
