Planning a trip to the Dominican Republic? Don’t miss the Damajagua Waterfalls.
We’ve done this activity twice now—jumping, sliding, and swimming through 27 cascading waterfalls carved into the jungle. The second time was even better than the first, and the tour company made all the difference.
DR Prime Tours gave us a private experience with a guide who was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun. He picked a fresh tropical avocado along the trail that we had with our authentic Dominican lunch afterward. Hands down the best avocado I’ve ever tasted—still thinking about it.
This is active adventure at its best: challenging enough to feel accomplished, safe enough to bring the whole family, and immersive enough to connect with the landscape and culture in a way resort activities never do.

Remembering our time in Vik, Iceland. The magical beauty of black sand beach was out of this world stunning.
Winter storms and relentless easterly winds have erased the beach—the ocean now crashes the basalt columns where we once walked across the volcanic sand.

The island of Iceland is a geographic masterpiece that is in constant motion.
The experiences we postpone aren’t guaranteed to wait for us.
