Another satisfied customer back from a well earned break, and another lovely heartfelt letter of thanks. 🤭 Starting to think I may be a bit of a hero! 😎

One particular grey and overcast morning, an aggressive looking pigeon landed with a thud on my windowsill like Iron Man looking for a fight. It just sat and stared directly into my soul for exactly 47 seconds. It didn’t move, so I didn’t move, It didn’t blink, so I didn’t blink. It was obviously trying to warn me of potential tragedy, like a winged messenger from God. Then, in a hypnotic state, I spilled my coffee into the shape of a aeroplane around my brown suede moccasins on to the carpet below. Not one for over reacting, or ignoring my inner monologue of pending doom, I quickly grabbed my phone as the coffee soaked into the shagpile and got in touch with my favourite travel agent, My Holiday Guy, and begged for his immediate help. As quick as the underlay absorbed up every last drop of the caffeine of my early morning boost, he got back to me with an escape to Morocco booked with 22kg of luggage, speedy boarding passes and transfers, all included into one payment link.
I never question omens of the avian kind, not since the red breasted Robin incident of 2018. Thanks My Holiday Guy for your understanding and attentiveness, you may have just saved my life.

🌴 CARIBBEAN TRAVEL UPDATE 🌴

I’ve had a few messages asking about Caribbean travel with everything going on near Venezuela, so I wanted to share a quick, clear update on what actually matters for your trip.

Here’s what’s going on:
Temporary airspace restrictions were put in place over parts of the eastern Caribbean as a precaution. Because of this, some flights in that region experienced delays, reroutes, or cancellations.

The good news for your vacation:
Travel to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico is NOT affected.

If you’re headed to any of these destinations, your trip is still moving forward as planned. ✈️🌞

Some U.S. and Canadian airlines may make small schedule adjustments if a flight path originally crossed restricted airspace. That’s normal and handled directly by the airline’s operations team. Safety is always the priority.

What to expect next:
Restrictions are beginning to lift, and airlines are returning to normal operations. A few minor delays may continue over the next couple of days as schedules rebalance, but things are stabilizing.

✔️ Keep your airline app downloaded with alerts turned on
✔️ Give yourself a little extra airport time
✔️ Watch for any direct updates from your airline

Live like royalty in Hurghada
The clue’s in the name at the five-star Jasmine Palace. Whether you’re lounging on the golden sands of the private beach, being pampered in the spa, or sipping cocktails in the stylish bars, you’ll be treated like royalty. There’s plenty for little princes and princesses, too, as the hotel caters just as well for families as they do for couples.
Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with a dip in the Red Sea, or go for a swim in the lake-sized pool – it’s split into four sections, two of which are heated during the winter months. One part of the pool is reserved for little ones, while another is right by the poolside bar. If that sounds a little too slow paced for you, you can join in with games of beach volleyball, table tennis and darts, try the aqua aerobics classes, or work out at the gym. Children, meanwhile, will be kept busy with activities at the kids’ club, which comes with an outdoor playground.
You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to food and drink. The main restaurant offers up a huge international buffet spread, and there are four à la carte restaurants to work your way through – these cover Oriental, Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisine. There are five bars dotted through the grounds, too.
