Recently, I toured the Bissons, a beautiful family from Omaha, Nebraska. Considered one of the most beautiful churches in Latin America, the Society of Jesus or "La Compania", as the locals call it, took 160 years to be build during the XVII and XVIII centuries. Its interior is covered entirely in gold leaf. This church is at the top of the must-see religious buildings in Quito.
