Step into the world of Metri, the Overseer of Scribes from Egypt’s 6th Dynasty! This incredible statue brings ancient Egypt to life, showing Metri in the classic scribal pose, sitting with a papyrus scroll and pen in hand, a true symbol of wisdom and leadership.

What makes it even more special are his eyes. Made from quartz and rock crystal, they seem to watch you through time, shining with the brilliance of the Old Kingdom. Traces of bright colors on his necklace and lifelike details make this statue a true masterpiece from 2498 to 2345 BC.

تمثال متري هو من أشهر تماثيل مصر القديمة وبيعود للأسرة السادسة. بيظهر متري قاعد في وضع القرفصاء، ماسك بردية وقلم في إيده، وعينيه معمولة من الكوارتز والصخر البلوري، وكأنها بتبصلك من عبر الزمن.

التمثال ملون، جسمه باللون البني المحمر وقلادته مزخرفة بألوان زاهية زي الأزرق والأخضر والأبيض، وده بيوضح براعة الفنانين المصريين القدماء. التمثال اتلاقى في سقارة، ويمثل متري اللي كان رئيس الكتبة في الدولة القديمة وله دور كبير في حفظ السجلات والكتابة.

التمثال دلوقتي موجود في المتحف المصري الكبير، وبيعتبر من أبرز القطع الفنية اللي بتعكس جمال وفن مصر القديمة.
