DONT miss out going to the Saqqara Serapeum, FINALLY open to the PUBLIC...

The Serapeum of Saqqara is a serapeum located north west of the Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, a necropolis near Memphis. It was the burial place of the Apis bulls, living manifestations of the god Ptah. It was believed that the bulls became immortal after death as Osiris Apis, shortened to Serapis in the Hellenic period. The most ancient burials found at this site date back to the reign of Amenhotep III.

This is a picture of my, on the 14th of February, with Tunisia's second anniversary of the revolution, raising the flag of Egypt high in Al-habib Bourguiba street, where the Tunisian revolution started...

it was such an extraordinary moment for me, when i saw All the Tunisians excited once i entered, Tunisians left the celebrations, and all heads turned towards us (me and two other Egyptians), and asked us, are we really egyptians... and the joy i saw in their eyes when we responded with yes, made me PROUD of my Flag, that walked alone with the rest of the red Tunisian flags, Unique, Proud, and Observant of what the place that has caused a revolution on its ground....

:) This was my "tafaree7" moment
