Following the success of our July patches, we are excited to announce that registration is officially open for the 3rd and 4th patches of the Exceptional Gynecology Surgeon Workshop this September! 🩺✨

The workshop is held under the supervision of Dr. Haitham Abdel Wahab, Consultant of Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Advanced Laparoscopy.

Dates: Fridays, September 4, 11, and 18. (Optional Operations Day on the 25th of September)

Choose the timing that suits you best:
• 3rd Patch: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
• 4th Patch: 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM

All details are available in the invitation package on our website, and registration is completed directly through the site www.sphinex.org/ob-gyn

POV: learning surgical knots in the middle of the Egyptian desert!

Still thinking about the energy at our Suturing Skills Workshop during the Siwa National Educational Activity this past July 23rd–26th! Having more than 35 medical students from all over the world come together to learn at this workshop was unreal.

Watching you guys instantly switch from vacation mode to focus mode to master these stitches was everything. Future surgeons in the making.

🚨 تعلن SphinEx عن إطلاق ورشة متكاملة ومتقدمة في جراحات أمراض النساء، تحت إشراف الدكتور هيثم عبد الوهاب، إستشارى جراحات النساء وأورام النساء والمناظير المتقدمة.

صُممت هذه الورشة خصيصًا لأطباء النساء والتوليد الراغبين في تطوير مهاراتهم الجراحية وفق منهج علمي متكامل يجمع بين الفهم التشريحي العميق، واتخاذ القرار الجراحي الصحيح، والتدريب العملي المكثف.

برنامج تدريبي متكامل يجمع بين المحاضرات العلمية، والتدريب العملي المكثف (Hands-on)، والتعرض المباشر للحالات الجراحية، بهدف بناء جراح أكثر ثقة وكفاءة واستعدادًا للممارسة الواقعية.

We are thrilled to announce the Exceptional Gynecology Surgeon Workshop, held under the supervision of the esteemed Dr. Haitham Abdel Wahab ! 🩺✨

📅 What to Expect in Our Agenda:
Day 1 (Friday, 3/7/2026):
• Anatomy (Detailed anatomy of the abdomen, pelvis, and pelvic organs)
• Pathophysiology (How to use pathophysiology in surgery to get the best results)
• Gyn-Oncology
• Retroperitoneal pathway
• Hands-on simulator (Hand ties and surgical suturing)

Day 2 (Friday, 10/7/2026):
• Laparoscopic skills
• Laparoscopic ergonomics
• Patient selection for laparoscopy (Pre-op investigations, patient positioning, and how to handle trocars and instruments)
• Safe entry
• Hands-on laparoscopy (Needle handling, laparoscopic suturing, and different ties)

Day 3 (Friday, 17/7/2026):
• Detailed surgical phases (Pre-operative, operative, and post-operative) for surgeries
• Surgeries: Hysterectomy, myomectomy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, and vaginal hysterectomy
• Assessment

Day 4 (Date: to be announced)
• Operative list attendance
