Discovery of his tomb
The British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922, and his tomb was the only one that had not been touched by robbers, making it one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in history. The tomb contained more than 5,000 artifacts, including the famous golden mask of Tutankhamun.
