Ever wondered why the Bent Pyramid is… bent? 👀🔺

Built by King Sneferu, the pyramid started with a much steeper angle. But during construction, the builders realized that continuing this way could threaten the pyramid’s stability — so they changed the angle halfway up.😯

And here’s the fascinating part… King Sneferu didn’t stop there. 👑

He used what he learned to build the Red Pyramid, the first successful true pyramid with straight, smooth sides before his son's pyramid , king Khufu.

So the Bent Pyramid wasn’t simply a mistake…

This is Khufu’s Solar Boat, discovered in 1954 in a sealed pit on the southern side of the Great Pyramid.😯

How did the ancient Egyptians see the human being? 🇪🇬✨

To the ancient Egyptians, a human being was much more than a physical body.
They believed that a person was made up of several interconnected elements, each essential to their existence in life and afterlife.

𓂀 Khat — the physical body, the tangible form of the person.

𓂀 Ka — the life force, the vital energy that gives a person life and continues to exist after death.

𓂀 Ba — the individual's personality and spiritual essence, often represented as a human-headed bird.

𓂀 Shut — the shadow, considered an inseparable part of a person's existence.

𓂀 Ren — the name. For the ancient Egyptians, preserving someone's name meant preserving their
existence and memory.

𓂀 Ib — the heart, believed to be the center of thought, emotions, character, and morality.
After death, the heart was weighed against the feather of Ma’at.

Together, these elements formed the complete person — connecting the physical, spiritual, and eternal aspects of existence.

Ancient Egyptian belief was not simply about death… it was about continuing to exist. ✨
