🏛️✊ 3,000 years ago, the world’s very first labor strike happened right in Ancient Egypt—and they won! 📜✨

Long before modern unions, the elite tomb artisans of Deir el-Medina were paid in grain. But around 1150 BCE, when their monthly grain shipments failed to arrive for the second time, they didn't riot—they simply put down their tools, walked off the job, and sat down in protest in the shade of the royal temple walls. 🛑🌴

They refused to move until they were paid. And thanks to the surviving "Strike Papyrus," this incredible piece of working-class history was preserved for millennia! ✍️🏺
