The Great Sphinx of Giza
One of the most iconic monuments in the world, the Great Sphinx of Giza stands as a symbol of ancient Egypt’s mystery and grandeur. Carved from limestone, it has the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, believed to represent King Khafre.
Over 4,500 years old, the Sphinx guards the Giza Plateau near the Great Pyramids. Despite erosion and damage over the centuries, it remains a powerful reminder of Egypt’s rich history and impressive engineering.
Have you ever seen the Sphinx in person or dream of visiting it one day?
