Temples were built for cats, and cats were mummified after their death. To this day, cats live in many homes in Egypt, as well as in temples.

Легенды зародились в Египте. Наша программа называется «Амон». Почему?
Амон был главным богом Фив (древнего Луксора), столицы Египта в эпоху Нового царства (1518–1135 гг. до н. э.).
Фараоны построили богатую и могущественную империю и прославили Амона, возведя величественные храмы, в частности Карнак, на строительство которого ушло около 2000 лет.
Там находились тысячи статуй и священных лодок, многие из которых были покрыты золотом.
Позже Амон объединился с Ра и стал Амон-Ра. В его семью входили Мут (его жена) и Хонсу (его сын).
