Sé parte de este colosal momento en el que la historia de Egipto vuelve a la vida el 16 de octubre de 2024. Desde antiguas culturas hasta majestuosas dinastías, ofrece a tus clientes un viaje extraordinario a través de los siglos.

Alcance histórico: Las 12 Galerías Principales abarcan toda la historia antigua de Egipto, mostrando 15,000 artefactos. Estas galerías están divididas en cuatro secciones principales:

Desde la Prehistoria hasta el Segundo Período Intermedio: Esta sección explora el surgimiento de las primeras sociedades y los poderosos legados reales que unificaron Egipto y construyeron las primeras pirámides. Las sociedades de esta era estaban estratificadas, el rey era visto como una figura divina que mantenía el orden. Las creencias giraban en torno a la vida después de la muerte y al papel divino del rey en asegurar el equilibrio cósmico, con tumbas monumentales y templos que reflejaban la profunda conexión entre los gobernantes y los dioses. El ilustre Reino Antiguo de Egipto dio paso al Primer Período Intermedio, caracterizado por una era de fragmentación y la aparición de poderosos gobernadores provinciales.

Las creencias en la vida después de la muerte se expandieron, y la gente común buscaba protección divina a través de objetos rituales, textos y tradiciones funerarias para asegurar su lugar en el más allá.

Reino Nuevo: Esta era marcó el apogeo del poder imperial de Egipto, con legados reales de reyes guerreros como Ramsés II y reinas como Hatshepsut. La sociedad egipcia era rica y diversa, y se expandía mediante conquistas militares y el comercio. Las creencias en la vida después de la muerte se volvieron más elaboradas, con dioses como Amón-Ra recibiendo grandes ofrendas y los templos reflejando la conexión divina del faraón, asegurando su lugar eterno entre los dioses.

Desde el Tercer Período Intermedio hasta el Período Grecorromano: A medida que Egipto pasó a estar bajo dominio extranjero, la sociedad se adaptó con una fusión de tradiciones egipcias y grecorromanas. Los legados reales de la dinastía ptolemaica, que terminaron con el reinado de Cleopatra, ejemplifican la mezcla de influencias egipcias y extranjeras. في إطار قيام المتحف المصري الكبير بمراجعة جاهزية الخدمات المقدمة لزائريه، والتأكد من تميز وتفرد التجربة السياحية به منذ الدخول وحتى انتهاء الزيارة، بدأ المتحف، في تنفيذ عدد محدود من الجولات الإرشادية بالمناطق التي استلمتها شركة ليجاسي للتنمية والإدارة، إحدى الشركات التابعة لمجموعة حسن علام القابضة، والقائمة بتشغيل الخدمات بمجمع المتحف المصري الكبير، وذلك بعد العرض على مجلس إدارة هيئة المتحف، بحيث تبدأ الجولات اعتبارًا من اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 8 مارس 2023.

وتشمل الجولات، والتي يمكن حجزها عبر شبكة الإنترنت فقط، الحدائق والمنطقة التجارية التي تضم عدد من المطاعم والكافيتريات والمحلات التي تشمل علامات تجارية مصرية رائدة، ومتجر الهدايا، بالإضافة إلى المناطق المفتوحة للزيارة بالمتحف والتي تشمل منطقة المسلة المعلقة، وصالة الاستقبال الرئيسة المعروفة باسم البهو العظيم، والبهو الزجاجي.

كما سيتمكن الزائرون أثناء جولتهم بالبهو العظيم من مشاهدة ما يحتويه من قطع أثرية منها تمثال الملك رمسيس الثاني وعمود النصر للملك مرنبتاح، بالإضافة إلى تمثالين لملك وملكة من العصر البطلمي.

هذا ولن تشمل الجولات أي من قاعات العرض المتحفي التي سوف تظل مغلقة تماما وهي: القاعات الرئيسة وقاعتي توت عنخ آمون والدرج العظيم وقاعة العرض التفاعلي ومتحف مراكب خوفو، وأقسام ومناطق المتحف الداخلية الأخرى، وذلك انتظاراً لموعد الافتتاح الرسمي المرتقب للمتحف والذي سيتم تحديده في أقرب فرصة، على أن يُراعى الإعلان عنه قبل تاريخ الإفتتاح الرسمي بوقت كاف ليتسنى للمدعوين من ملوك ورؤساء وكبار المسئولين من جميع دول العالم حضور افتتاح هذا الصرح العظيم.

The Grand Egyptian Museum to Host a Number of Groups and Events Ahead of Trial Phase

Ahead of the operations trial date which will be announced in due course, the Grand Egyptian Museum will host a limited number of events and groups, in some areas of the complex, to test site readiness and the visitor experience.

During this phase, visitors will be able to experience parts of the Grand Egyptian Museum, specifically the Hanging Obelisk Square, the Grand Hall, the Children’s Museum, the Immersive Hall, the outdoor spaces, and the retail and food and beverages outlets, which include a selection of leading Egyptian brands.

Entry to the Grand Hall will afford access to a selection of remarkable artefacts, including the Statue of Ramesses II, the 10 Statues of Senusret, the Sakkara Cannon, the victory column of Mr-N-Ptah, in addition to the Ptolemaic King and Queen statues.

All other museum interior spaces, including access to the main galleries and the two Tutankhamun galleries, will remain closed in preparation for the full site opening.
