ملك وملكة اسبانيا لما زاروا الأقصر راحوا مكان أغلب الناس مش عارفاه ولما نزلنا الصورة البعض بدأ يتساءل- ايه المكان ده؟
باختصار دى حديقة عمرها 4000 سنة أمام احدى المقابر القديمة واكتشفتها البعثة الأسبانية
نشرنا الاكتشاف أكتر من مرة وهو بيحكى عن النباتات التى كانت تزرع بها وعثر على عينات بها بعض البذور لنباتات عُثر عليها عبارة عن كزبرة، وقرعيات (نوع من البطيخ)، وأزهار من عائلة الأقحوان وأنواع اخرى من النباتات والزهور التى يحتاجها المتوفى مع لحم البقر والبط فى رحلته للعالم الآخر- كانت للزهور رمزية، لأن الكلمة نفسها تعني الحياة والزهرة في اللغة المصرية القديمة. وكان تقديم الزهور وسيلةً لتمني الحياة

When the King and Queen of Spain visited Luxor, they went to a place most people don't know about. When we posted the photo, some began to wonder: What is this place?
In short, this is a 4,000-year-old garden in front of an ancient tomb, discovered by the Spanish mission.
We've published the discovery more than once, and it tells of the plants that were grown there. Samples were found containing some seeds of plants, including coriander, cucurbits (a type of melon), flowers from the daisy family, and other plants and flowers that the deceased would need, along with beef and duck, on his journey to the afterlife. Flowers were symbolic, as the word itself means life and flower in ancient Egyptian. Offering flowers was a way to wish for life.
If you open the photos, you'll see an imaginary view of the beautiful planting area visited by the King and Queen.
