From the heart of Esna.. Discover the secrets of the Temple of the "God of Creation and Master of the Waterfalls"! ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ
โ€‹Our latest trip took us to the incredible Temple of Esna, a place packed with fascinating history:
โ€‹The Deity of the Temple: The temple was dedicated to the main deity, "Khnum," the god of creation and master of the waterfalls in ancient Egyptian religion, who was worshipped as the creator of humans from clay on a potter's wheel ๐Ÿบโœจ. He was worshipped alongside his consorts, the goddesses "Menhit" and "Nebtuu."
โ€‹A 2,000-Year-Old History: Construction began in 186 BC during the reign of King Ptolemy V, and it took nearly 400 years of building and expansion, lasting until the reign of the Roman Emperor Decius! ๐Ÿ“œโณ
โ€‹The Architectural Masterpiece: The only remaining section today is the massive Hypostyle Hall, featuring 24 magnificent columns adorned with colorful astronomical and religious inscriptions. It is famous for its unique hymns dedicated to Khnum, which have recently been restored to their original brilliant colors after centuries of soot removal ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿคฉ.

From the Temple of Hatshepsut
Information Located in the middle of Mount Qurna, the richest archaeological mountain in the world, it extends 5 kilometers west of Luxor, with many ancient temples and pharaonic tombs such as the tombs of the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the most famous of which is the tomb of the golden pharaoh Tutankh
and a tomb discovered by the British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1929
In the cemeteries of the Valley of the Kings in the middle of Jabal Al-Qurna

On the other hand, there are ancient temples like me The Temple of Habu and the Temple of Hatshepsut were built by the architect Senmut, who had a Pharaonic love story between him and Hatshepsut. The construction of the temple is rare and unique, as it is considered the only one that consists of three floors.
On the third floor is the Holy of Holies of Ammon and the table of offerings.
The temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most beautiful temples let's see

Hamdoun Marsa Alam Tours
Confirms the information
Let's go to Luxor with Hamdoun Marsa Alam Tours
You will see and know the life of the Pharaoh and the end of his history west of Luxor in the city of Qurna
It contains the richest archaeological mountain in the world with inside it the tombs of the Valley of the Kings and queens and the temples of the pharaohs
Hence the question why did the Pharaohs choose that place in the bottom of the mountain and what does death mean
Because at the end of the day, the sun sets behind the mountains west of Luxor, so life becomes dark in the east and illuminated or illuminated in the west.
2Because the desert and mountain weather is dry, which helps in mummifying the mummy.
3And that reason is very important which is to protect the cemeteries from theft
4Jabal al-Qurna in the form of a large boat that the Pharaoh took as a means of transportation to cross the other world and reach the afterlife after death
As death meant for the ancient Egyptians it was to move to the other world and the afterlife after death Luxor
