How to Travel to Siwa Oasis?
تُعد واحة سيوة واحدة من أجمل الوجهات السياحية في مصر، فهي تجمع بين الطبيعة الساحرة والهدوء والتراث الأمازيغي الفريد. تقع سيوة في قلب الصحراء الغربية بالقرب من الحدود الليبية، وتشتهر بعيون المياه الطبيعية وبحيرات الملح وجبال الرمال الذهبية، مما يجعلها مكانًا مثاليًا لمحبي الاسترخاء والمغامرة في الوقت نفسه. لكن بسبب بعدها الجغرافي، يتساءل الكثيرون: كيف يمكن السفر إلى سيوة بسهولة؟
السفر إلى سيوة من القاهرة
أشهر طريقة للوصول إلى سيوة هي السفر برًا من القاهرة إلى محافظة مطروح ثم التوجه إلى سيوة. تستغرق الرحلة عادة من 8 إلى 10 ساعات تقريبًا حسب وسيلة النقل والطريق المستخدم. ويمكن السفر بعدة طرق:
أولًا: الأتوبيسات
توفّر شركات النقل الجماعي رحلات مباشرة من القاهرة إلى سيوة بشكل يومي، وتُعتبر هذه الوسيلة الأكثر راحة وأمانًا للكثير من المسافرين. تنطلق الرحلات غالبًا مساءً حتى يصل المسافر صباحًا، وهو ما يساعد على تجنب حرارة النهار الطويلة في الصحراء. كما تختلف أسعار التذاكر حسب نوع الحافلة والخدمات المتوفرة بها.
ثانيًا: السيارة الخاصة
يفضّل بعض المسافرين الذهاب بسياراتهم الخاصة للاستمتاع بالطريق الصحراوي والتوقف في المدن الساحلية أثناء الرحلة. ويُعتبر طريق القاهرة – العلمين – مرسى مطروح – سيوة هو الطريق الأشهر والأكثر استخدامًا. ومن المهم التأكد من حالة السيارة قبل السفر بسبب طول المسافة وقلة محطات الخدمة في بعض المناطق.
ثالثًا: القطار ثم الميكروباص
يمكن السفر بالقطار إلى مرسى مطروح ثم استكمال الرحلة إلى سيوة عبر ميكروباصات أو سيارات أجرة. ورغم أن هذه الطريقة قد تكون أقل راحة من الأتوبيسات المباشرة، فإنها تمنح المسافر فرصة للاستمتاع بأجواء الساحل الشمالي خلال الرحلة.

Traveling to Siwa from Cairo
The most common way to reach Siwa is by traveling overland from Cairo to Matrouh Governorate and then continuing to Siwa. The journey usually takes around 8 to 10 hours depending on the transportation method and the road conditions. There are several ways to travel:
First: Buses
Public transportation companies provide direct daily bus trips from Cairo to Siwa. This option is considered one of the most comfortable and safest ways for many travelers. Most buses depart in the evening and arrive early in the morning, helping passengers avoid the intense daytime heat of the desert. Ticket prices vary depending on the type of bus and the services available onboard.
Second: Private Car
Some travelers prefer driving their own cars to enjoy the desert road and stop at coastal cities along the way. The Cairo – El Alamein – Marsa Matrouh – Siwa route is the most popular and widely used road. It is important to make sure the vehicle is in good condition before traveling because of the long distance and the limited number of service stations in some areas.
Third: Train then Microbus
Travelers can also take a train to Marsa Matrouh and then continue the trip to Siwa using microbuses or taxis. Although this method may be less comfortable than direct buses, it gives travelers the chance to enjoy the atmosphere of Egypt’s North Coast during the journey.
