Thank you Charities United for your amazing donation for tonight’s Ampcampkids fundraiser 💙🦿🩷🦾

We’d just like to say a massive thank you to Charities United who have given a €500 donation to our fundraiser tonight.

The money will go towards bringing 5 families out to Tenerife who all have a child that has lost limbs to cancer.

The camp starts on the 22nd of November.

Good afternoon Ben , I hope you are well just a quick message about our recent trip with yourself at AmpCamp .
We would like to thank you all for our time out in Tenerife last week to say this was amazing is a understatement , what yourself Laura and Debbie are doing for these children is amazing and to see their faces having fun is great and you and Debbie are a huge part of this with you both being amputees yourselves it’s absolutely great and it inspires the children to do so much seeing you both taking part and just basically showing them you can do anything in life if you put in the effort and I know my little Tyson got so much from seeing you and Debbie walking around and changing your legs in front of him with no issues and with a smile on your face .
The camp was superbly run and even if you didn’t want to participate you could do your own things .
The whole set up was brilliant and I truly appreciate what you have done for my son and what you are doing for the all the children who have been there , you should all be proud of what you are doing and I’m sure you are making the children’s confidence grow and you can only be making them all stronger .
What a great experience for all the children , siblings and the Adults to all be in a safe environment whilst going through what they have endured.
Keep up the good work not all heroes wear capes .

8th of February we reopen the doors and welcome 5 incredible families over to AmpCampKids for a fully funded week In Tenerife 💙🦿🩷🦾

37 days and we open our doors again.

We are so excited about our very first meningitis camp, and to welcome 5 amazing families to Tenerife.

We have lots of fundraising planned for 2025 to bring even more memories to more families

The doors are opening again 2025 we are back with 3 camps 🙌🙌🙌

On the 1st of April 2021 we started fundraising to put on a camp for children with a limb difference. Ampcampkids was created to offer a place for families to come and be around other families who understood their journey. Unfortunately, even today you get stared at and made to feel different. But not on these camps, on these camps the children can play with or without their prosthetics on and not feel any different.

The very first one started on the 8th of February 2022, with the first 6 families attending this very special week.

On the 8th of February 2025 our 3 year anniversary we open the doors again for a very special camp. This one is specifically for children affected by meningitis or sepsis.

We have now selected the 5 families that will attend this very special week and planning has started.

A massive thank you to Adam Mortimer &Thisisluke for making this camp a possibility through their amazing challange 🙌

We also want to say a massive thank you to anyone who’s ever supported what we do, whether you’ve climbed mountains, set challenges, held fundraisers or donated towards our camps. Without the support we get none of these children would have made these memories. 💙🦿🩷🦾

We will also be adding our second osteosarcoma camp at the end of 2025. Keep an eye out for our fundraisers and challenges over the coming months.

If we were to offer a camp during the school holidays next year for family’s to book onto, would there be much interest??

We don’t normally hold camps during schools holidays but that’s when most people go on their family holiday.

The week would be exactly the same as the camps we’ve had previous, with all the meals, activities, accommodation and excursions included in the price.
