Today we want to share with you a reflection that has been with us for some time. Managing a tourist accommodation is not just about opening doors. It is a daily job taking care of all the details, meeting people from all over the world, explaining to them what makes our neighbourhood and our way of life special. It is about being there every day, listening, learning and improving. And, above all, it is about doing it responsibly, with respect for the environment and the community, complying with all regulations and guaranteeing an honest and well-managed activity. A responsibly managed tourist apartment does not generate problems among the neighbours. On the contrary, those of us who dedicate ourselves to this work care about the good condition of the building and the environment, we ensure that there is good coexistence and we contribute to the good maintenance of the properties where we carry out our activity. Although we understand that the debate on tourism is complex, we want to state that a smear campaign like the one that has been carried out is affecting us a lot, both professionally and personally. It makes us feel vulnerable and uncomfortable, since we are dedicating all our energy and efforts to offering a job well done.
