Happy New Year you beautiful lot! I just wanted to say a big thank you to those of you who stuck around and supported Girls that Wander this year. Your contributions have not only inspired/educated me, but many others and it’s so incredible to see bad-ass females hopping on flights and living out their dreams. Although it seems like this is just a “pretty” Instagram page, there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. I’m personally so excited to start bringing my ideas for this community to life! This year you’ll be sure to see much more owned content, diverse local culture and most importantly - stories from amazing females who whole heartedly love to travel. I’m personally going to spend the next few months continuing to learn, grow and follow my heart whilst in South East Asia. I really hope this year brings you joy, peace, adventures and everything else you deserve! Love,

Wanderlust is more than just ticking things off a list. It's about losing yourself and finding yourself at the same time. It's opening up your heart to the world and letting local culture and learnings pour in. It's about increasing your awareness whilst shrinking your ignorance. It's understanding what it means to be present and experience life-changing moments without constantly buying "things" to fill a void. It's taking the time to interact with and understand people who in your normal everyday life, you probably wouldn't take a second glance at. Travelling provides the opportunity for intimate self-reflection, where you can truly see what kind of person you are by how you are affected by different situations and the decisions you make. Wanderlust means something different to each person that holds it, and that's where the true beauty lies 🌎💛⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Said "boy bye" to a normal life. This is in Sam's IG bio and we knew we'd love her content as soon as we read that haha. The colour of the water at the Grand Cenote in Tulum looks so amazing every time - no matter how many pictures of it we've seen! Some words from Sam below on her trip:

"I am so glad I got a brief taste of Mexico and could finally see for myself what the hype about Tulum was about. It's such a lovely beach town and I can see why people love to return to it many times. Also, when you're paying $15+ for 3 tiny tacos in NYC and then go to Mexico and find amazingly tasty ones for only .50 cents each, how can you not want to go back?" We're with you girl!! 🌮🌿⠀⠀
