EL AVENTURERO DEL MAR
Until August 30, you can visit El Aventurero del Mar, an open-air travelling exhibition featuring twenty sculptures by regional artists, along the La Puntica seafront promenade in Lo Pagán, San Pedro del Pinatar. Each artist offers their own interpretation of the seahorse, a species that embodies both the beauty and fragility of our Mediterranean coastline—particularly the Mar Menor, where it once thrived and where it still survives, although in very small numbers.
An initiative by La Verdad, supported by regional businesses and institutions, the exhibition brings together art and environmental awareness, encouraging us to reconnect emotionally with the need to restore the unique natural environment of the Mar Menor.
We invite you to stroll along the La Puntica seafront promenade and discover the creations of artists including Petrus Borgia, Francisco Cánovas, Carmen Cantabella, Ricardo Escavy, Nono García, Sofía Gea, Karim Hamgeo, Ramón González Palazón, Josu M. Lozano, Miriam Martínez Abellán, Juanjo Martínez Cánovas, María Luisa Martínez León, Antonio Martínez Mengual, Pablo Pérez García, Arturo Pérez, Paulina Real, Katarzyna Rogowicz, Antonio Tapia, José Antonio Torregar and Salvador Torres. Each sculpture brings together an artwork, an artist and the support of the organisation accompanying it on this journey.
