This will never fail to amaze me!
This incredible Roman theatre was hidden underneath Cartagena, with an entire neighbourhood built over the top of it 🤯
It wasn’t discovered until 1987, when archaeological excavations started revealing what was hiding under the city.
Today, you can walk through the remains of a theatre that dates back more than 2,000 years, and it's literally in people's back yard!
Just imagine living here all those years without having the slightest idea what was underneath your feet.
